RULES FOR MONTHLY COMPETITIONS
The Monthly Secretary will be responsible for accepting entries into the Monthly Competitions and ensuring that they are in accordance with the laid down rules.All entries must be in the hands of the Secretary by no later than the published date.

I Open Digital Projected Images
CLASSIFICATION OF MEMBERS
The Monthly Competition Sections H and I are open to all members irrespective of classification
WPS will ask an experienced person to Judge the images. All images will be set before the judge and he/she will set a score out of 20. The highest score from five Monthly Competitions will be added together to arrive at the overall winner.
A trophy will be awarded to the overall winner of each section of the Monthly Competition. All trophies remain the property of WPS.
5. GENERAL RULES
(i) Up to Four prints may be entered. Prints may be any size; mounted on any colour mount, maximum size of mount shall be 50cm by 40cm with minimum length of 38cm on the longest side
If your prints are to be entered into L&CPU competitions they will need to be on mounts 50cm by 40cm.The backing board shall be a similar size to the front mount. The maximum mount thickness shall not exceed 4 mm. No tape of any description on the back of a print mount. Each print must display on the back, in the top LEFT hand corner your name, print title and the class you wish to enter.
(ii) The stated Author of an image must have the Copyright at his/her disposal. Images entered must be entirely the work of the stated Author with the exception of the processing of prints. Composite images are welcome, provided all components meet this requirement.
(iii) Each image may only be entered in one class, an image or “significantly similar” must not have been used in any previous Monthly Competition of the Society.
(iv) Up to three Projected Digital Images may be entered. Projected Digital Images must be prepared in accordance with The Guidance Notes. See WPS web site or ask for separate sheet.
(v) Unless a worker indicates otherwise, it is understood that all entries may be used by W.P.S. for external competitions or events the Society enters.
(vi) No entry fee is required.
(vii) Entries not complying with the rules will automatically be rejected.
